Can Christians ever overcome sin, or are they destined to struggle until they die? This biblical study examines what Jesus, Paul, and John actually taught about sanctification, Romans 6–8, Galatians 5, 1 John, and the role of the Holy Spirit. Addressing Romans 7, common objections, and the difference between sinless perfection and freedom from sin's dominion, this article shows that the gospel offers not only forgiveness, but genuine transformation in Christ.
