The Clear Word Bible: An Adventist Doctrinal Paraphrase
The Clear Word Bible: An Adventist Doctrinal Paraphrase. The Clear Word Bible, published in 1994 by Seventh-day Adventist theologian Jack Blanco, is marketed as a “devotional paraphrase.” While it presents itself as a tool to make Scripture easy to understand, it is in reality a theologically biased rewriting of the Bible. Rather than drawing from the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts, Blanco reshapes verses to reflect distinctive Adventist doctrines.

The Passion Translation (TPT): A One-Man Paraphrase Masquerading as Scripture
The Passion Translation (TPT): A One-Man Paraphrase Masquerading as Scripture. The Passion Translation (TPT), produced by Brian Simmons and first released in 2017, markets itself as a “fresh, Spirit-led translation” of Scripture. In reality, it is not a translation at all. Unlike genuine translations, which are produced by committees of trained scholars working with the original texts, the TPT is a one-man paraphrase shaped by Simmons’ claim of receiving supernatural guidance

The Woman of Revelation 12: God’s People, Not Mary Alone
The Woman of Revelation 12: God’s People, Not Mary Alone. Revelation 12 introduces one of the most dramatic visions in the book: “a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars” (12:1, LEB). For centuries, interpreters have debated her identity. Some in the Catholic tradition identify the woman as Mary; many futurists see her as national Israel awaiting a future tribulation.

Book of Jude Summary: Contending for the Faith
Book of Jude Summary: Contending for the Faith. The Epistle of Jude is one of the shortest but most fiery writings in the New Testament. Written with urgency, it calls believers to “contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people” (v. 3). Jude’s message is a strong rebuke of false teachers who distort the gospel, paired with exhortations to perseverance, holiness, and mercy.

Pastor Worship: Dividing Christ’s Body
Pastor Worship: Dividing Christ’s Body. In 1 Corinthians 1–4, Paul confronts a deep problem in the Corinthian church — factions forming around leaders. Some claimed loyalty to Paul, others to Apollos, still others to Cephas. Elevating leaders divides the body of Christ and shifts focus from the cross to personalities.

Pentecostalism: Fire, Experience, and Doctrinal Drift
Pentecostalism: Fire, Experience, and Doctrinal Drift. Pentecostalism is one of the fastest-growing religious movements in the world, boasting hundreds of millions of adherents. It emphasizes the “baptism of the Holy Spirit,” speaking in tongues, miraculous healing, and revivalistic worship. For many, it represents a return to the book of Acts — a Christianity full of power and supernatural vitality.

Mormonism: Another Gospel and Its Errors
Mormonism: Another Gospel and Its Errors. Mormonism—officially The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS)—is not Christianity. It is a counterfeit faith offering a different gospel, another Jesus, and another path of salvation. The danger is not just in Mormonism’s growth worldwide, but in its recent cultural acceptance through partnerships with projects like The Chosen. What once was rejected outright as a false religion is now slipping quietly into Christian spac

The Chosen: Why It Misrepresents Jesus
The Chosen: Why It Misrepresents Jesus. Few Christian media projects have captured as much attention as The Chosen. With hundreds of millions of views worldwide, its polished production, emotional storytelling, and crowd-funded grassroots popularity have made it a phenomenon. But popularity doesn’t equal biblical faithfulness. For all its artistry, The Chosen misrepresents Jesus and departs from Scripture in ways that are dangerous to the faith.

Greek or Peshitta? Why the Apostles Wrote the New Testament in Greek
Greek or Peshitta? Why the Apostles Wrote the New Testament in Greek. Some modern movements—especially Sacred Name groups—claim that the New Testament was not written in Greek, but in Aramaic (specifically the Peshitta). They argue that the Greek text is a corruption, and only the Peshitta preserves the “true” words of Jesus and the Apostles.

The Sacred Name Movement: Why “Yeshua Only” Misses the Point
The Sacred Name Movement: Why “Yeshua Only” Misses the Point. The Sacred Name movement insists that Christians must call Jesus by His Hebrew name Yeshua (sometimes expanded into contrived forms like Yahshua). Advocates often claim that using “Jesus” is pagan, inauthentic, or invalid. While it may sound spiritual, this teaching is not only misguided—it is a distortion of Scripture and history.

Faith and the False Gospel: What Scripture Actually Teaches
Faith and the False Gospel: What Scripture Actually Teaches. In churches across the world, a damaging and deceptive theology is being preached: if you’re not healed, it must be because you lack faith. The so-called "Word of Faith" or prosperity gospel has redefined biblical faith into a tool for getting what you want from God. In this twisted system, faith becomes a transaction, and suffering becomes a punishment for spiritual failure. But Scripture tells a different story.

Prosperity Gospel: The Faithless Gospel
Prosperity Gospel: The Faithless Gospel. The Prosperity Gospel promises much and delivers little. It is the message of worldly gain dressed in spiritual language, offering earthly reward in exchange for faith. Yet the biblical Gospel promises something altogether different: suffering in this life, glory in the next (Romans 8:18). The so-called "Word of Faith" movement is, in reality, a faithless gospel — rooted not in the unseen hope of Hebrews 11, but in the seen and tempora

What The Bible Says About Greed
Greed isn’t just a personal flaw—it’s a spiritual cancer that Scripture treats with deadly seriousness. It hides behind ambition, masquerades as “blessing,” and often disguises itself as success. Yet in both the teachings of Jesus and the writings of Paul, greed is not just frowned upon—it’s condemned as idolatry (Colossians 3:5, NLT).

False Teachers
There is no biblical warning more frequent in the New Testament than the warning against false teachers. This isn’t just an occasional cautionary tale; it is the very context into which much of the New Testament was written. Jesus warned about them explicitly. Paul named names. Jude devoted an entire letter to them. Peter said they were coming. John wrote to expose their denial of Christ in the flesh.
